How much does microcement cost?
Every project is priced individually, based on the surface area, substrate and design. You will first see the result through a visualisation and a sample, then receive a detailed quotation within 24 hours.
Does microcement crack? What about expansion joints?
Quality rests on the substrate. We always assess and reinforce it first, working with a glass-fibre mesh as part of the system build-up. We respect the expansion joints of the substrate rather than covering them blindly. This is why the surface holds and does not crack.
Can it be applied over existing tiles without demolition?
Yes, that is its greatest advantage. It is applied in a thin layer directly over existing tiles, screed or plasterboard. No demolition, minimal dust and waste.
Is it suitable for showers and bathrooms?
Yes. In wet zones we apply a system waterproofing layer beneath the microcement. The surface is water-resistant and seamless, so mould has nowhere to settle, unlike tile grout.
How long does the realisation take?
A typical bathroom (walls and floor together, around 50 m² of surfaces) takes 8 to 10 working days, including the curing breaks between layers.
How is microcement maintained?
Routine cleaning with pH-neutral products. We recommend renewing the protective sealer every 2 to 3 years in bathrooms and every 3 to 5 years in living areas. Cared for this way, the surface lasts 15 years and more.
